Job Description Job Description 10-4 Logistics USA is seeking an experienced CDL-A truck driver ( Class A CDL ) for regional over-the-road (OTR) assignments. Freight is 100% dry van, no-touch, with approximately 60% drop-and-hook. Compensation & schedule Training pay: $650 during a four-week in-cab training period with a trainer. Base pay after training: $0.55 to $0.65 per mile (experience-dependent). Performance bonus: $0.04 to $0.06 per mile, paid monthly. Typical home time: Bi-weekly. Equipment & benefits Equipment: Late-model automatic Freightliner Cascadia tractors, fully equipped. Benefits: Eligibility after 30 days for life, dental, vision, and health insurance options, and 401(k). Primary responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Complete assigned OTR routes to meet schedules and delivery instructions. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; report defects and maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate hours-of-service records and electronic logs. Ensure proper cargo handling and securement; follow drop-and-hook procedures where applicable. Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and customers. Follow fuel management, routing, and on-road safety protocols. Minimum qualifications Valid CDL-A (Class A CDL) . Minimum 120 hours of truck driving school instruction completed within the last 24 months (no prior OTR experience required). Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and pass required drug screening.
