Job Description:

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This position plays a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures. Assess patient condition before, during, and after procedure, noting any changes and communicating them to the appropriate medical staff. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to address complications. Assist in inserting catheters and other surgical tools during cardiac catheterization and interventions. Monitor patient vital signs and physical condition throughout procedures. Educate patients and their families on post-procedural care and health maintenance. Maintain sterile environments and uphold all hospital protocols and safety measures. Document patient data and procedural notes in electronic medical record systems. Collaborate with cardiologists, surgical teams, and other nursing staff to optimize care plans and outcomes. Proficiency in using cardiac catheterization equipment and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Detailed knowledge of cardiac diseases and treatment techniques. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Florida. BLS/ACLS certification. Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) is preferred.
