Summary*Responsible for the procurement of process equipment,
construction and professional services of Capital Expenditure
Projects (CAPEX)*Job Responsibilities** Obtain all the necessary
information for the bidding process* Coordinate with Legal and Risk
Management on final contractual terms* Coordinate bid process and
pre-bid meetings schedule* Prepare and send bid packages for
quotation* Major vendors evaluation and assessment* Bid analysis
and recommendation* Negotiation of commercial terms: price, LDs,
guarantees, warranties, payment terms, delivery time* Contract
execution with vendors* Generate purchase orders in our ERP*
Monitor and follow up the development of the project according to
the contractual terms* Provide support to Accounting department to
resolve payment discrepancies* Report savings obtained through
negotiations* Establishing procedures for CAPEX Procurement and
Plant Procurement personnel to assist in coordinating the group's
efforts on capital projects* Responsible for reporting to
Procurement and Technical management on current activities and
status of all projects and contracts* On major projects, coordinate
and manage CAPEX negotiators and expeditor*Qualifications**
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related
field* At least 3 years of experience in engineering projects for
manufacturing companies (contractual side)* Building materials
industry experience preferred* Familiarity with the purchasing
process preferred* Knowledge of organizing and maintaining
spreadsheets* Experience in effectively managing both internal and
external relationships with cross-functional groups
andsuppliers*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** SAP experience
preferred* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills*
Excellent negotiation skills* Excellent analytical skills* Ability
to listen and persuade others* Ability to develop a team*Working
Conditions*Capable of working in an open concept office
environment*Physical Requirements** Requires walking, sitting,
lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree*
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible
