We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Oracle Developer II

The Oracle Developer II will participate in all phases of the design, development, implementation, and operational support of the Oracle EBS Platform. The Developer Oracle II will create, modify, prepare, and test clear codes, scripts and forms that allow the system to run diverse types of Enterprise Applications, will participate in system integration activities and acceptance testing. Individual will act as the Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Applications point of contact between the EA group and clients/business partners for the oracle incidents, tasks, enhancements assigned Modules (HCM/Payroll/Financials/Procurement).

Responsibilities

  • Ability to analyze current business processes to help solve business issues from strategy to execution by creating an equivalent process to help improve business efficiency and reduce internal costs.
  • Provide Design recommendations that follow the Enterprise Architecture Vision and adheres to applicable application technology Guidelines
  • Assist in Configuration efforts to the Oracle application supporting to company goals, standards, and policies utilizing Unix shell scripting, query database tuning, Oracle application framework extensions/personalization and concurrent program setup
  • Assist efforts to Solution and design Configuration, Extension, Modification, and Localization Integration (CEMLI) using Oracle Technology best practices
  • Ability to create Logical and Physical Diagrams
  • Work within established Software Development Cycles and Methodologies including Agile, scrum, iterative, and waterfall to support the success of the larger IT organization.
  • Understand and mitigate the impact of Technical design on Security, performance, and SOX compliant Data Privacy.
  • Support testing activities.
  • Collaborate with other developers by taking part in Code Reviews
  • Gather business requirements from stakeholders and document them in a clear, concise manner
  • Draft functional specification and technical specification documents (with preference for experience with Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) creating BR.100 (app setup) and MD.50 (functional design), MD.70 (technical design) documents) for Oracle EBS R12.x
  • Work with project managers and other teams in relation to existing and new projects and rollout plans.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in an interrupt-driven environment.
  • Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.
  • Perform on other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years technical/functional development experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R11/12.x
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Oracle EBS R11/12.x architecture (database objects, personalization, extensions, custom library, forms, screens, reports, etc.) and integrations between modules
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in writing and modification of Fast Formulas
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with SQL*Plus and PL/SQL
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience with Eiss express reporting tool for Oracle R12.x including automating and scheduling reports and reports development/modification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a Unix environment
  • Minimum 2 years' experience using BI Publisher and Oracle Workflow
  • Oracle Certified Developer
  • Functional Modules Knowledge: Financial, HCM/Payroll
  • Familiar with SOAP and REST web services/creating and calling these services a plus
  • Knowledge of JAVA a plus
  • Knowledge of ITIL, a plus
  • Understanding HIPAA regulations, a plus
  • On Call Support during the day and off business hours
  • Specifics for Finance Developer
  • Knowledge in all aspects of Enterprise Resource planning software.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great presentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
