Kelly Engineering has an AMAZING Opportunity for Tooling Design Engineer located in Brooksville, FL.-- Direct Hire and Relocation Assistance Provided!Must be experienced in SolidWorks.-- Someone from a tooling background would be preferred.Position Overview:Designs industrial machinery and equipment, compound tools, stamping tools, molds, fixtures, industrial tooling, dies, gauges, jigs and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.-- Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field.-- Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.-- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.Essential Job Functions:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Troubleshoot issues occurring with machinery or performance.Supplemental Job Functions:
  • Enter daily logs onto computer
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Managing one's own time.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.--Requirements/Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.-- This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
    • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
    • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
    • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
    • Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships, and applications to understanding fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics and mechanical, electrical, atomic and subatomic structures and processes.
    • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Other Skills/Abilities:
      • Strong communication skills
      • Ability to take instruction
      • Willingness to work as a team
      • Electro/mechanical skills a plus
