Job Summary
Implement trainings within specified targeted audiences while
developing, delivering and evaluating a range of courses within
specified cement sites.
Job Responsibilities
Training Implementation & Delivery (70%):
Conduct and facilitate virtual instructor-led and face-to-face
training on a variety of cement operations technical and soft
skills training
Recruit and schedule facilitators, experts, and external vendors to
deliver training
Design training content for interactive virtual training
programs.
Ensure learning content consistency and delivery across functional
areas: Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, Production, Quality,
Shipping, Procurement and HR.
Create training calendars for assigned cement plant(s) and follow
up on training executions
Partner with plant functional experts to identify and assess
learning gaps as well as future needs on development programs
Execute training program communications with participants, managers
and local stakeholders
Training Logistics (30%):
Assist with participant selection processes
Collect data and feedback to refine and improve learning and
development approach
Generate reports for cement plants and evaluate data and
metrics
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering,
Education, or related field.
2+ years of experience in the field of technical learning
development/training facilitation
1+ years of Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience
Training certifications are a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in manufacturing environment, strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software
Strong project management, analytical and organizational skills
Strong presentation and training skills - must be able to speak
publicly and in front of large groups
Proven ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced
environment
Working Conditions
Capability to work extended hours as necessary
Ability to work with standard office/computer Equipment
Capable of working in an open office environment
Travel required with overnight stays (up to 35% per year)
Physical Requirements
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing
to a significant degree
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible
amount of force frequently
Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or
standing for brief periods of time
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to
employees/visitors
