The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of HR functions, including benefits, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and payroll. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:Manage the recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening and coordinating interviews.Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, in coordination with benefit plan brokers.Assist with payroll, as needed.Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and support performance management processes.Address employee and supervisor inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.Develop and Implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.Collaborate with management to identify and address employee relations issues.Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics as needed.Nurture a positive work environment. Requirements: Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred .SHRM certification is a plus.5+ years of experience in HR Generalist or a related role.Experience working in the government contractor or manufacturing industry is a plus.Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.Experience creating and running reports in the HRIS system.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
