We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do in this role:* You will perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food. * You will prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items. * You will operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc. * You will clean kitchen work areas, collect and dispose of garbage. * You will assist with food stocking. * You will serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient room. * You will work in the dish room when needed. * You will work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray. * You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.What Qualifications you will need:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 6 months food service experience preferred previous experience in hospital food services preferred.
