Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, located in the vibrant community
of Brandon, Florida, is actively seeking a dedicated Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit on a PRN (as-needed)
basis. This position is ideal for those who are committed to
providing top-tier patient-centered care in a high-acuity
environment where the focus is on complex monitor surveillance. As
a part of our respected team, the RN will manage the care of
patients with multi-system dysfunction and need for frequent
assessment. Our hospital is at the forefront of medical innovation

supportive environment. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
and develop appropriate nursing care plans. Ensure the delivery of
competent, high-quality care through monitoring and maintenance of
patient vital signs, medication administration, and interpretation
of diagnostic tests. Respond to life-saving situations, using
nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Act as a patient
advocate and maintain communication with patients, families, and
healthcare team members. Maintain a safe and clean working
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Educate patients and their families on illness and proactive health
practices. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Ability
to operate complex machinery and monitoring equipment Excellent
communication and critical thinking skills Proficiency in
electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse license in the state of Florida Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
