Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital invites dedicated and professional
nurses to apply for the position of Registered Nurse in our
state-of-the-art Electrophysiology Lab. This PRN (pro re nata or as
needed) role is ideal for individuals who specialize in cardiology
and are committed to providing top-tier patient care in a dynamic
environment. Here at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, we leverage
cutting-edge technology and innovative procedures to ensure the
best outcomes for our patients in their cardiovascular health
journey. This position requires flexibility in schedule, clinical
precision, and a passion for advancing cardiac care. Monitor
patient vital signs and heart rhythm patterns using
electrophysiological equipment during procedures. Administer
medications under physician supervision and provide patient care
before, during, and after procedures. Educate patients and their
families on procedure details, post-procedure care and potential
health management strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and
ensure all regulatory protocols are followed. Collaborate with
cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize
patient care plans. Participate in ongoing training and
professional development related to electrophysiology and cardiac
care. Strong clinical skills in electrophysiology and cardiac care.
Proficiency in using electrophysiological diagnostic and treatment
equipment. Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure
environment. Capability to maintain detailed and accurate medical
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certifications required. Electrophysiology
specialized training or certification preferred.
