Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Brandon, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,476 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Level 3 NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Respiratory Therapist Certifications: Must-Have: NRP certification Preferred: STABLE certification Description: Position available in a 36-bed Level 3 NICU. Two Respiratory Therapists staff the unit during peak volumes. Daily responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries. Ventilator management with both conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation is required. Surfactant administration and blood gas acquisition and interpretation are essential tasks. Nitric Oxide administration is part of standard procedures. Candidates should have Level 3 NICU experience but may be considered with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience. A positive attitude and the ability to critically think and work independently are necessary. Attention to detail is important for success in this role.
