Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist medical professionals in patient care. Our technologists are crucial in our mission to provide exceptional care through our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health services. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient imaging and safety. Operate advanced radiographic equipment to capture clear diagnostic images following physician orders. Maintain equipment functionality and safety, adhering to all safety standards and protocols. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety. Analyze results and provide insights to physicians for accurate diagnosis. Record and maintain accurate patient records and radiographic findings. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to streamline patient care and imaging schedules. Proficiency in using a variety of imaging technologies, including X-ray, MRI, and CT Strong analytic skills for examining radiographs Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and sensitivity Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State licensure as required
