Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. Located in Brandon,
Florida, our hospital is a leading healthcare provider in the
region, known for our commitment to quality care, innovation, and a
wide range of medical specialties, including an outstanding
emergency care, orthopedic surgery, and cardiology services. As a
Med Surg Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and
well-being of our patients, providing top-notch medical care and
support in a dynamic environment. Provide direct and comprehensive
nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit. Monitor
patient health and progress post-surgery and during recovery.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by attending
physicians. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients
and their families on illness and post-hospital treatment. Maintain
patient records and chart patient treatments and progress
accurately. Ensure compliance with hospital safety and patient care
protocols. Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
effectively in a high-pressure environment. Competence in
administering treatments and medications. Proficient in the use of
medical software for patient management. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
