HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our innovative team at the New Tampa Freestanding Emergency Department. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, and administer medications and treatments. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to formulate a care plan, communicate needs, and evaluate patient responses. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and prepare reports on patient status. Guide and mentor less experienced nursing staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment. Proficiency in emergency care and life support procedures Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Effective communication and patient-management abilities Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association PALS Certification preferred
