Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is currently welcoming applications
for the position of Registered Nurse PRN in our Day Surgery Unit.
In this role, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team
focused on providing top-tier care in a range of surgical
specialties. Our hospital is recognized for quality care and

who thrives in a dynamic environment. As a nurse in our Day Surgery
Unit, you will handle pre-and post-operative care, ensuring patient
safety, optimizing outcomes, and elevating patient satisfaction.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to
ensure the effective execution of patient treatment plans
tailor-made to individual surgical procedures. Prepare patients for
surgery, including pre-surgical assessments and patient education
Monitor patient vitals and respond to emerging situations during
post-operative recovery Administer medications and maintain
detailed patient records Collaborate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive patient care Guide patients and their families
through the surgical process, providing reassurance and clarity
regarding procedural steps and recovery Conduct follow-ups with
patients post-discharge to assess recovery progress and advise on
further care needs Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical
care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
manage stress and multitask effectively Detail-oriented with strong
documentation and patient management skills Proficient in using
medical software and patient care technology Medical Insurance
