Job Description:

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Ortho PRN position. This role is vital to our commitment to providing the highest quality care and innovative treatment options in orthopedic surgery. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team, using state-of-the-art technology to assist patients in their recovery processes. Our supportive environment emphasizes continuous professional growth and a balanced approach to work-life commitments. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and coordinate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans. Administer medications, monitor recovery, and update patient records ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and health maintenance. Implement physician-directed treatments and monitor patient outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary. Ensure a sterile environment and uphold all safety protocols to prevent infection and maximize patient recovery. Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting. Proficiency in managing orthopedic conditions and surgical recovery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic and changing environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
