Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a
per diem basis. The selected candidate will be pivotal in providing
care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery. As
part of our healthcare team, you will work in a state-of-the-art
facility that is committed to excellence in patient care and
utilizes the latest in medical technology and innovation. This role
requires a compassionate professional who can operate effectively
in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Monitor post-anesthesia
patients, assessing their level of consciousness and vital signs.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical
staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Administer medications
as prescribed and monitor for any side effects or complications.
Provide post-operative education and support to patients and their
families. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all
safety standards and protocols. Ability to assess and stabilize
patients quickly Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team High proficiency in
managing multiple tasks in a high-stress environment Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida BLS
Certified ACLS Certification preferred
