Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate
RN Registered Nurse for our Pre-operative department, enhancing
patient care and preparing patients for surgery. The role demands
proficient clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and

condition and history to develop appropriate preoperative care
plans. Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and
preparing surgical sites. Collaborating with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive
patient care. Educating patients and families on preoperative
procedures and postoperative expectations. Maintaining accurate
patient records and adhering to all safety and health regulations.
Participating in continuous education and professional development
opportunities. Strong proficiency in preoperative nursing care and
protocols. Excellent teamwork and communication skills with
patients and staff. Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced and
dynamic environment. High level of detail orientation and precision
in clinical tasks. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must possess a current Registered
Nurse (RN) license applicable to the State. BLS and ACLS
certification preferred. Certification in Perioperative Nursing
(CNOR) is advantageous but not required.
