Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We
are committed to providing exceptional care in a state-of-the-art
environment, supporting every newborn with expert knowledge and
compassion. The NICU nurse will play a vital role in managing
patient care, ensuring the wellbeing of our tiniest patients
through specialized knowledge and a high level of attentiveness.
Provide critical care to newborns who are ill or premature. Monitor
vital signs and ensure specialized nutritional needs are met.
Administer medications and collaborate closely with the healthcare
team to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate parents on
neonatal conditions and post-discharge care. Maintain detailed
patient records and respond to neonatal emergencies with
efficiency. Expertise in neonatal care and premature infant needs.
Ability to operate specialized NICU equipment. Strong communication
and empathetic skills. Highly organized and capable of multitasking
effectively. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state
of Florida or a compact state. BLS certification from the American
Heart Association. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
certification.
