Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Emergency Room team.
Located in Brandon, Florida, our hospital is renowned for its
commitment to quality care and medical innovation. This position
offers a dynamic work environment where children receive dedicated
emergency medical attention from a team of compassionate and expert
healthcare professionals. As a Pediatric ER Nurse at our facility,
you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care while
ensuring the safety and comfort of our youngest patients in
emergency situations. Provide immediate medical attention to
children with acute illnesses or injuries while assessing their
condition and administering appropriate treatment. Closely monitor
patient vital signs and recovery, documenting any changes and
responding to emergencies swiftly and efficiently. Collaborate with
pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to
develop and implement effective treatment plans. Educate parents
and guardians about their child's condition, treatment plans, and
preventative health measures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized
environment for patients and staff. Adhere to hospital policies and
guidelines regarding patient confidentiality and ethics in
pediatric care. Strong clinical skills in pediatric emergency care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
under pressure in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a
high degree of accuracy in patient assessments and documentation
Proficient in using medical software and patient management systems

401k Valid RN license in the state of Florida Current BLS (Basic
Life Support) certification PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
certification preferred
