Job Description:
At HCA Florida Largo Hospital, we are seeking an experienced and
proactive Nurse Manager for our Med Surg Neuroscience unit to
oversee all aspects of patient care and administrative operations.
This vital role ensures the smooth functioning of our unit, with a
focus on enhancing patient outcomes, optimizing resources, and
fostering a collaborative team environment. The Nurse Manager will
be instrumental in molding the future of our unit through
innovative leadership, rigorous quality control, and passionate
commitment to patient care and staff development. Oversee daily
operations in the Med Surg Neuroscience unit, ensuring compliance
with all hospital policies and healthcare regulations. Develop and
implement strategies for improving the quality of care and patient
satisfaction. Manage and allocate staff resources efficiently to
maintain optimal staffing levels. Conduct performance reviews,
provide training, and support the professional development of all
staff members. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance
operations and patient outcomes. Maintain budget compliance, manage
inventory supplies, and perform administrative functions as
required. Address and resolve any issues related to patient care in
a timely and effective manner. Strong leadership and organizational
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient
in nursing operations and administration In-depth knowledge of
healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Ability to plan,
direct, and coordinate medical and health services Competent in
handling emergencies and staffing challenges Medical Insurance

registered nurse license in the state of Florida Certified Nurse
Manager and Leader (CNML) credential preferred BLS/ACLS
