Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated OT Therapy Team Leader to oversee
our dynamic occupational therapy team within our network of
inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role is pivotal in
managing and advancing therapeutic care, tailored to meet the
individual needs of our patients recovering from significant
injuries or illnesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
guiding the occupational therapy team, ensuring high standards of
care, and contributing to the interdisciplinary treatment plans in
alignment with our mission to provide a higher level of
comprehensive rehabilitation. Lead and supervise a team of
occupational therapists and therapy assistants Develop and
implement therapy programs and interventions consistent with the
needs of patients Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to
create comprehensive treatment plans Monitor patient progress and
adjust treatments as necessary Ensure compliance with all federal,
state, and local legislation, as well as professional standards
Provide mentorship and continuous professional development
opportunities for team members Conduct performance evaluations and
manage staffing requirements Participate in budgeting and clinical
management meetings Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in patient
assessment and treatment Ability to design and execute effective
therapy programs Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards Medical

state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Board Certification in
Occupational Therapy (BCOT)
