Job Description:

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Rehabilitation team on an as-needed basis, delivering high-quality care in line with our commitment to excellence and innovation. As part of our dynamic nursing staff, youll have the opportunity to work within a leading healthcare facility, known for its state-of-the-art medical care across various specialties including orthopedic surgery and cardiology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient-centered rehabilitation services designed to help patients recover and regain their independence. Assess patient condition by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and overall physical and mental health. Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation staff to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Administer medications, maintain detailed patient records, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding rehabilitative care and lifestyle adjustments. Ensure a sterile and safe environment to prevent infections and maximize patient recovery. Strong clinical skills in a rehabilitative or acute care setting Excellent teamwork and multi-disciplinary collaboration abilities Proficient in using medical software and patient management systems Ability to educate patients and families on treatment and care plans High level of compassion and effective communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
