Job Description:
Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is looking to employ an
OB/GYN for a practice location in Sarasota, Florida . We are
located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north
of Ft. Myers on the West Coast of Florida. Our OB/GYNs see patients
in the clinic setting, provide surgical services in the hospital,
and collaborates with our employed OB Hospitalists who provides
24/7 in-house coverage of the OB ECC and any unassigned expectant
mothers. Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) is listed among U.S. News
50 Best Hospitals for Obstetrics/Gynecology Care and they performed
over 4,200 deliveries in 2024. Sarasota Memorial also received
level III Maternal Care Verification from the Joint Commission in
2023, in collaboration with the American College of Obstetrics.

includes six (6) OBGYNs and one APRN. Call will be 1:6. Select
physicians provide outpatient services in two clinic locations
Practices is on staff at one hospital SMH-Sarasota. Mother Baby
unit holds 28 beds and Labor & Delivery has 18 spacious suites. 8
bed OB-ECC & triage unit conveniently located near L&D Unit. 3
C-section ORs and a 4-bed PACU with the ability to flex beds. Level
III NICU with 33 private rooms. 5 daVinci Xi Robots and 1 daVinci
SP in the hospital. 24/7 Neonatology and Maternal Fetal Medicine
physician coverage. First Physicians Group employs MFMs, Gyn/Oncs
and Breast Surgical Oncologists. No OB/GYN Residents at SMH
requiring teaching/supervision, but there is an opportunity to
teach FSU Medical Students if interested. Required Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified Licensed in Florida and holds a
current DEA Certificate Graduate of an ACGME accredited OB/GYN
program Benefits Include: A 2-year employment contract with a
generous salary and bonus potential. Physicians transition to a
generous pay model after 2 years. Income potential ranges from the
high $300s to $600K once practice is established. Comprehensive

Retirement Plan, 5 days/$3500 CME, 4 weeks of PTO to start then max
