Job Description Licensed Staff Pharmacist – Mail Order Pharmacy (Contract) Location: Apopka, FL (Just outside Orlando) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Type: Full-Time, 13-Week Contract (Potential for Permanent Hire) Job Overview We are seeking a Licensed Staff Pharmacist to join a high-volume mail order pharmacy located in Apopka, FL. This role is ideal for pharmacists with strong experience in prescription verification and patient counseling who thrive in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for permanent placement based on performance. Key Responsibilities Verify high-volume mail order prescriptions with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance Provide pharmacist counseling to patients via telephone Support remote mail order pharmacy operations Participate in comprehensive training on the pharmacy dispensing system Training duration: 3 weeks (1 week initial 2 weeks follow-up) Schedule & Hours Full-Time: 40 hours per week Days: Monday through Friday Hours: Between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM Qualifications & Requirements Active Florida Pharmacist License (required) 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume mail order pharmacy setting Strong communication skills for patient counseling and collaboration Comfortable working with pharmacy dispensing systems and technology Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high prescription volumes efficiently Why This Opportunity?
