Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible, rotating - Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Information: PCU Location: HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital Address: 5731 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34233 Floor: Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): - Number of Beds - 40 - Number of Staff – 36 hired in - Type of staff: - Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) - Night Shift - - Patient Ratios – Varies from 4:1-6:1 - Type of equipment – - EMR - Meditech Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Knowledge of IV Drips- cardiac - .Post cardiac cath interventions/care - Telemetry - Willingness to Float Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. - Meditech charting experience - Meditech Expanse List typical procedures performed on unit(s): - Post Cath interventions/care - EKGs Best personality Fit: - Positive - Reliable in attendance.
