Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown nursing. Providing comprehensive care to patients who require close monitoring but not intensive care, this role is well-suited for nurses seeking to apply their skills in a dynamic clinical environment on the night shift. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license (Compact license accepted) Minimum of 1 year PCU or stepdown nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Ability to wear navy blue scrub colors as part of the dress code Strong references covering entire nursing work history Schedule: Night shift Guaranteed 36 hours per week Responsibilities: Monitor and care for patients needing intermediate critical care Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies Contract Details: Contract position with a length of 13 weeks Opportunity to gain valuable experience and expand clinical skills This contract role offers a focused chance to enhance your expertise in PCU nursing while working a consistent, guaranteed schedule on the night shift.
