NaphCare is hiring Registered Nurse Educator (RN) just like you at the Hillsborough County Jail located in Tampa, FL. Day Shifts, PRN Shifts, and 8-13 week contracts are available. At NaphCare, we want you to be able to use your skills. Our positions encourage cross-training, and include roles such as intake booking nurse, detox nurse, sick call nurse and health and physical assessments nurse.

Position Description:

• Coordinate, structure, implement and guide the delivery of the nursing service program within the facility
• Conduct daily clinical rounds
• Take and document all patient history and vital signs
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures and patient assessments
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist in evaluating the quality and effectiveness of clinical services
• Assist with orientation and training activities of clinical personnel
• Observe and review documentation, orders and patient care plans
• Assist with disaster plans and emergency preparation
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
