Job Description Job Description MRO Technician – Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (Sarasota, FL) (For quicker response, email resume directly to:jburchett@aerotek.com) Starting Pay: $23/hr Pay Increase After Training: $25–$26/hr after successful completion of a 90?day training period Benefits: Full benefits package 401(k) Location: Sarasota, Florida Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Thursday) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and dependable MRO Technician to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations for electrical and mechanical components. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on electrical and mechanical components Troubleshoot issues and perform diagnostic testing Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble parts according to specifications Use hand tools, testing equipment, and precision instruments Document work performed and maintain accurate records Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications Previous MRO, mechanical, electrical, or technical repair experience preferred Ability to read and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and work instructions Strong problem?solving skills and mechanical aptitude Comfortable working with small parts and precision tools Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Reliable attendance and strong work ethic What We Offer $23/hr starting pay Raise up to $24–$26/hr after 90?day training period Full benefits package and 401(k) Stable, full?time schedule Opportunities for advancement and skill development Supportive, team?oriented work environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
