Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to
support students in several schools within the Volusia County
Public Schools district in Florida. This contract position offers a
dynamic work environment across multiple elementary and middle
schools, with a flexible schedule and a chance to make a meaningful
impact on student communication development. Location & Schedule:
Work 4 days per week: 3 days at Ormond Beach Elementary and 1 day
at Pine Trail Elementary in Ormond Beach, FL 4 days at Silver Sands
Middle School in Port Orange, FL Next year, the position will
expand to a full 5-day schedule Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract
duration: Immediate start through June 5th, 2026 Qualifications &
Experience: Must hold a Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
license Candidates with a Bachelors degree willing to work on a
temporary teaching certificate are considered for the current year
(Note: SLPA license not accepted) Ability to supervise Clinical
Fellows is preferred Experience in school-based speech-language
pathology services is highly desirable Responsibilities: Deliver
individualized speech and language therapy to students across
assigned schools Collaborate with educators and related staff to
support student communication needs Assess and monitor student
progress, maintaining clear documentation Provide supervision and
mentorship for Clinical Fellows as applicable This role provides an
