A full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position is available in the K-12 school setting within Lake County Public Schools, serving multiple schools located in and around Eustis, FL. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through May 29, 2026. The role is on-site, itinerant across various school locations, and involves an average caseload of approximately 40 active students and consultations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver therapeutic interventions and support to students requiring physical therapy services. Collaborate with school staff, families, and professionals to develop and implement student-specific treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided. Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of school-aged children within educational settings. Provide itinerant services across multiple schools as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Must hold a current Physical Therapist Assistant professional license. School-based experience is required for consideration. Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of children ranging from K-12. Strong communication and collaboration skills within educational environments. Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with scheduled hours of 8 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid break.
