ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Located in Orlando, FL, this
contract position offers opportunities for Speech Language
Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at multiple K-12 schools within the
Seminole County Public Schools system. The role supports students
ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Assignments include
full-time and part-time positions across elementary, middle, and
high schools, with some routes potentially requiring itinerant
work. Responsibilities: Provide speech therapy services under the
supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Support
students with speech, language, and communication needs in school
settings. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to
support individualized student goals. Maintain accurate records and
adhere to state and school regulations. Qualifications: Florida
State license required. School-based experience is necessary.
Completion of a Masters degree in Speech Pathology, Communication
Science Disorders, or a related field. SLP-CCC certification
through ASHA is preferred. Ability to work full-time (35 hours) or
part-time (approximately 25 hours) schedules. Experience levels
from 0 to 10 years welcomed, with competitive pay aligned to
experience. Locations and Assignments: Elementary Schools:
Highlands (0.5 position), Sabal Point (full-time leave coverage)
Middle Schools: Indian Trails (1.5 positions), Markham (0.5
position) High Schools: Seminole (full-time), Lake Mary (0.5
