Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 4:30pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.--We offer 6 weeks to 3 months of paid training. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepanciesProvide input to policies, systems, methods and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing functionEducate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applicationsMonitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billedManage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivablesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent years of working experience Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work a 40-hour schedule within the operating hours of the site (8:00am - 4:30pm)Preferred Qualifications:
    • 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job toolsPrevious experience in billing or collectionsSoft Skills:
      • Ability to multi-task and to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product Telecommuting Requirements:
