Job Description:
Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, a division of
IES, has an opening for a -Financial Controller -to oversee the
day-to-day operation of the accounting functions, bookkeeping, and
compliance.Responsibilities:
Manages the accounting and finance
operations-billing, A/R, A/P, GL, inventory accounting, and revenue
recognition.Coordinate the processing of all accounting
transactions using Company policies and procedures.Prepare and
publish timely financial statements.Maintain the chart of accounts
and general ledger utilizing existing financial software
programs.Ensure adherence to internal accounting controls and GAAP
compliance.Assist internal and external auditors with
examinations.Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of financial
information flow though out the Company.Oversee accounting
processes of monthly inventory.Interact with Company branches and
departments.Coordinate and direct the budget preparation and
financial forecasts and report variances.Manage compliance with
local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.

Proven experience as a Financial
Controller.5+ years of combined accounting and finance
experience.Degree in accounting, advanced preferred.Thorough
knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Public accounting
(GAAP) experience.Excellent accounting software user and
administration skills.Excellent communication and leadership
