Oversees and supports accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity. Manages multi-company organization allocating costs properly and communicating to each profit center on their cash available from their revenue less expenses. This will involve allocation of G & A expenses to profit centers and working hand in hand with profit center representatives. Ensures credibility of finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of financial trends and forecasts. This involves coordinating and producing internal and external multi-company financial statements on a cash and accrual basis. Manages the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable and payroll. Gives final approval on all vendor and employee payments. This includes monthly approval of all journal entries in completing month-end financial close. In conjunction with the CFO, establishes financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards. Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management. Oversees and approves all financial plans or revisions to plans. Monitors and analyzes G & A expenses. Treasury functions to include but not limited to: documenting all business financial transactions, managing formal reports and company bank statements. Daily tracking of incoming cash flow while monitoring and forecasting monthly contingency reserve. Prepares periodic draws and allocation on fixed asset loans for profit centers. .Point of contact between FMC and CPA firm for financial statement review, tax returns, 401k audit including compilation & preparation of documentation FMC representative with financial institutions for loan origination, financial covenant, investment account, Treasury management website and originator of bank wire payments. Assess current and future required accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement in process, training, software and databases. Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles along with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards. Physical and Mental Demands: Routine desk activity; able to sit for long periods High concentration and high complexity of decision making High level verbal and written communication skills High average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Occupational Exposure: Low risk exposure to blood borne pathogens and chemical hazards Job Qualifications: BS in Accounting and a CPA license is required, an MBA is highly desirable 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles. Healthcare industry experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
